Sara Eugenia "Jean" Jeffers Matzke, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, wife of Ray O. Matzke, died Thursday, July 6, 2017. Her Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m.
Eugenia was born October 22, 1937 in Belton, SC, daughter of the late Alfred J. and Lois Virginia Hannah Shirley. She worked at Detyens Shipyard and attended Liberty Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
