Eugenia Graham Bean, 71, of North Charleston, SC, wife of Alden Jordan Bean died Thursday, September 6, 2012. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 9, 2012 in the Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mrs. Bean was born August 4, 1941 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Harry Graham Cusack and the late Virginia Ambrose Cusack. She graduated from Chicora High School. She worked for Nelson Printing Company for many years and later retired from Carolina Chemical Company. She was a member of Holmes Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alden Jordan Bean of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Jennifer Denise and her husband Greg Ackerman of Summerville, SC; son, Keith and his wife Debra Bean of Portland, OR, son-in-law, Terry Pruitt of New Port News, VA; sister, Patricia Malphrus of Ridgeland, SC; brother, Randy Mack and his wife Sabrina Cusack of Yonges Island, SC; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Diane Pruitt.
