Eugene Barnwell Way III, 56, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Roberta "Bobbie Storm" Way, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 7, 2021. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life service on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. His private graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery.
Gene was born June 12, 1964 in Charleston, SC, a son of and Minyon Aytes Shepherd and the late Eugene Barnwell Way Jr. Gene had a love for hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a wonderful father, had many friends, and never met a stranger.
Along with his wife and mother, Gene is survived by his step-father, Neil Shepherd; sons, Gene Barnwell Way IV and Austin Taylor Way; and his sisters, Sheila Hinson and Kellie Ritter.
