Eugene Leon "Bubba T" Tisdale

Eugene Leon "Bubba T" Tisdale Jr., 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Patricia Schleppegrell Tisdale, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 21, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the service. For your safety, masks and social distancing are required. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Bubba T was born June 6, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Eugene Leon Tisdale and Laura Blanton Tisdale. He was an avid fisherman and kept his "fishing holes" secret. Bubba T enjoyed music, dancing, parties and loved pets. He truly adored his daughter Melissa and never missed an opportunity to share how proud he was of her. Because of his love for cookies, he was given by Judy the nickname "Cookie Monster". Even though he was taken too soon, he lived a full and happy life. Bubba T will be remembered for his contagious laugh, big smile and kindness to help anyone in need. He is gone fishing...

Besides his wife, Patricia, of 46 years, Bubba T is survived by his daughter, Melissa Tisdale; his brother, Darren (Glen) Tisdale; his sisters, Denise (Paul) Hollingsworth and Julia (Blain) Wyatt; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Don) Young, Marsha Schleppegrell Dimitri and Judy Schleppegrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rex Tisdale.
