Eugene Ralph Martin

Eugene Ralph Martin, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Juanita Cecile Watson Martin entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 2, 2016. The family will receive friends Wednesday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday October 13, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 33660 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Eugene was born March 14, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan He was the son of the late Adeline Martin Esmailoff . He was a retired U.S. Air Force Personnel Specialist. Eugene was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.He is survived by his four sons, Edward and Myra Martin of Summerville, SC, Terry Martin of Atlanta, GA, Robin and Lynn Martin of Summerville, SC, Kelly J. Martin of Norwich, CT; daughter, Donna Groomes of Lexington, SC, and son, J. Earl Matthews of Charleston, SC; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
