Estelle Mindlin Heidenberg, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Jacob Heidenberg entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 24, 2016. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Emanu-El Cemetery , Sycamore Avenue, Maryville at 3:30 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.

Estelle was born October 20, 1930 in Franklin, New Jersey, daughter of the late Rubien Mindlin and Sarah Fischgrund Mindlin. She was a graduate of Kean College of New Jersey. She retired as an guidance counselor with the public education system.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jacob Heidenberg of Charleston, SC; five sons, Louis Corey Heidenberg (Carol) of Fairlawn, NJ, B. Stephen Heidenberg (Nittaya) of Plano, TX, Dr. Howard Brian Heidenberg (Sandy) of Tampa, FL, David B. Heidenberg (Susan) of Johns Island, SC, and Alex Jay Heidenberg (Rosa) of Fayetteville, NC; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
