Entered into eternal rest the morning of Friday, May 18, 2012, Estelle Bazzle Craven, 91, widow of James Manning Craven. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Estelle are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to NHC Health Care, Activity Department, 2230 Ashley Crossing Road, Charleston, SC 29407.

Born October 9, 1920 in Walterboro, SC, Estelle was the daughter of the late Andrew Bazzle and Lula Craven Bazzle. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston. Mrs. Craven was a loving mother, grandmother and will be missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include her sons: Bruce Craven and his wife Patricia of Greenwood, SC and Spencer Craven and his wife Chris of Summerville, SC; sisters: Mae Saulisbury of Charleston, SC and Myrtle Smith of Sumerton, SC; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Betty St. Laurent, two sisters and two brothers.
