Errol A. Droze, 83, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 18, 2026. His Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 24, 2026 at Riverview Memorial Park 3715 Azalea Drive at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Errol was born June 22, 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Herman Droze and the late Dorothy Sykes Droze. Errol answered the call of duty early in his life as a proud Navy Veteran, serving his country with honor and commitment. After his military service, he built a respected career, retiring from Bellsouth / AT&T. Throughout his professional years, Errol was known for his reliability and steadfastness, qualities that left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.

Outside of his work, Errol found joy and peace in nature. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of Palmetto Stars camping club. These pursuits were not just hobbies, but essential parts of who he was-reflecting a spirit of adventure and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.

Errol’s presence will be missed by all who knew him. His life, marked by honor, hard work, and a passion for the outdoors, stands as a testament to the values he upheld.

He is survived by daughter, Sheryl Robinson (Gene) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren: Kaitland Mullins (Jay), Joshua Brown (Kaylea), and Karson Robinson (Haleigh); great-grandchildren: Jensen, Hayden, Rinley, Mayson, and Addie Mae; sister, Leonatia Miller (Gerald) of Jamestown, SC; many loved nieces and nephews; and significant other, Vivian Taylor of Goose Creek, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Julia Truett Droze.
