Ernestine Marcoux, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of John Marcoux entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Her service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Ernestine was born November 3, 1939 in Bad Gams, Styria, Austria,  daughter of the late Rudolph Kollman and the late Auguste Kaefer Kollman. She was an admissions counselor for Robert Morris University and also active in local politics. She traveled widely, including to such exotic places as Kathmandu, Borneo and her beloved Galapagos Islands. She was a lover of art and collected many items during her travels. Ernestine will be remembered for the way she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Marcoux; daughter, Nicole Marcoux, and an extended family in Austria.
