Ernestine LaRoche Hamilton

Ernestine LaRoche Hamilton, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Ernestine was born September 24, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ernest LaRoche and Florie Muckelvaney Farmer. She was a graduate of South Carolina State University. Ernestine was a retired Counselor with the South Carolina State Vocational Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Denise Hamilton of Charleston, SC; son, Ernest Arthur Hamilton, IV (Jamie Wilkinson) of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister, LaVerne Taylor; brother Kenneth LaRoche of Houston, TX; and four grandchildren, Jade Hamilton, Peyton Richards, Lily Hamilton, Jaxon Richards.
