Ernest "Willie" Williams

Ernest "Willie" Williams, 75, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Betty G. Williams entered into eternal rest Monday, April 14, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Ernest was born September 18, 1938 in Loris, SC, son of the late Edward Lee Williams and the late Irene Lewis Williams. He was a graduate of Green Sea High School. He was a barber for 57 years and the owner and operator of Williams Barber Shop in Goose Creek, SC. Ernest was a member of the Hammerton Masonic Lodge and an Omar Shriner.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty G. Williams of North Charleston, SC; daughters: Cynthia Rhodes (Mikel) of Daniel Island, SC, Kimberly Epps (Donald) of Summerville, SC and Jennifer Williams of Charleston, SC; sister, Alice Gerald (L.C.) of Myrtle Beach, SC; granddaughters, Lauren Crews (G.J.) and their son Mason all of Knightsville, SC and Jessica Willhoit (Cory) of Summerville, SC; brother-in-law, Billy Blackburn of Loris, SC; nephews, Chad Gerald of Myrtle Beach and Eddie Blackburn of Loris. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Williams; and sister, Grace Blackburn.
