Ernest Graves Jones III

Ernest Graves Jones III, of Sullivan's Island passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025. Born on July 30, 1943, in Providence, Rhode Island, Ernest was the son of the late Ernest Graves Jones Jr. and Jean Robertson Jones. His legacy is cherished by those who knew him and by his family.

Ernest devoted his professional life to the art community in Atlanta, GA as the owner of The Framers on Peachtree, where his expertise and eye for detail were well recognized. His passion for art not only reflected in his work but also in the relationships he fostered within the vibrant community that surrounded him.

In addition, Ernest graduated from St. Andrew's Presbyterian College, and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, an experience that he held dear throughout his life. After completing his military service, he furthered his education and earned an M.B.A from Georgia State University, further exemplifying his commitment to personal growth and development.

Ernest is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia B. Jones, and his brother, Robertson Jones and sister, Carolyn Jones Tuchschmid. The impact of his life and character will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
