Eric "Dog" Paul Bourgeois

Eric "Dog" Paul Bourgeois, 63, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Kathleen Elizabeth (Passman) Bourgeois entered into eternal rest Friday, January 6, 2017. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:30 a.m.. Interment with military honors will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Eric was born October 4,1953, raised on Bessie K. Plantation River Road in the St. James Parish, Louisiana and was proud of his Cajun heritage. His served in the Navy for 20 years including Vietnam and Desert Storm. He also retired from Detyens Shipyard.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, sister; Barbara Anne Webre, brothers; Antoine Bourgeois and Steven (BeBop) F. Bourgeois, daughters; Kimberly Ann Coulston, Melissa Bourgeois, and Crystal Ann Bourgeois, son, Chase Anthony Collier, step-daughter, Ingrid Elizabeth Krieger, stepson, Daniel Thomas Krieger, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcibia Francois Bourgeois and Edna Tabor Bourgeois and one sister, Gloria Mae Chaix, and one brother, Leroy John Bourgeois.
