Emmy Lou Anderson, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Peter Reuben Anderson, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 27, 2025.

Emmy Lou was born October 20, 1931, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harold L. Garwig and the late Ethel Martin Garwig.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Anderson of Charlotte, NC; grandson, Noah Anderson Gminski (Madi Hinson); and great-grandson, Asher.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2025, at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, 53 Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina. The family will recieve friends following the service. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Bishop Gadsden and Crescent Hospice for their compassionate care.
