Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 4, 2010, Emmogene Maddox Heape Stenstrom, widow of G. Edward Heape of Hampton, SC and Ernest Melvin Stenstrom of Charleston. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at one o'clock. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Walterboro, SC. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock. Mrs. Stenstrom was born on June 28, 1930 in Morganton, North Carolina. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston for 33 years. Mrs. Stenstrom was a member of Azalea Chapter Order of Easter Star, pianist for local chapters of O.E.S, and church organist and church secretary for Southside Baptist Church for 25 years and a church musician at various other churches in the Charleston area.
Surviving are two sons, George F. Heape and wife Martha of Ashepoo, SC, Roy R. Stenstrom and wife Susan of Lexington, SC; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
