Emma Wright Prince of North Charleston (widow of Woodrow C. Prince) died Thursday, September 2, 2010, in Roper hospital.
Her funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel, Friday, September 3, 2010 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Prince was born October 23, 1932 at St. Stephen, a daughter of David Wright and Kathleen Goings Wright.
Surviving are two sons, James "Pete" Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, William Lestor Taylor of North Charleston and preceded in death by a son, Albert Scott Taylor; also survived by one daughter Marie Taylor Elkins of Atlanta; one sister, Georgia Thames of St. Stephen; and four grandchildren.
A member of New Life Assembly of God, North Charleston, Mrs. Prince enjoyed sewing, cooking and talking with her many family and friends.
