Emma Grace Heslin

Emma Grace Heslin of Charleston, South Carolina, infant daughter of Mark Edward Heslin and Margie Brown Heslin, died Friday, June 1, 2018. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 11:00 am until time of the service.

Emma was born with a congenital heart defect and spent 383 days at MUSC in the PCICU. She survived (4) open heart surgeries, a gallbladder surgery as well as numerous setbacks, infections, and complications. She inspired thousands around the world with her fight, determination, strength and courage. She was loved and cared for by her amazing PCICU team whom she loved dearly.

Emma was born May 15, 2017 in Charleston, South Carolina. She is survived by her parents; her brother, Jake Heslin; her grandparents, James and Carolyn Brown of Vernon, VT; her cousins, Ryan and Tyler Hernandez; and her extended family in Vermont and England.
