Emily Wick Graybeal

February 18, 1930 — June 26, 2016

Emily Wick Graybeal, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Robert Lee Graybeal died Sunday, June 26, 2016. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Emily was born in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Wilbur Herbert Wood, Sr.and the late Vella Belle Little Wood. She graduated from Stevens College in Columbia, MO with a degree in fashion design. She studied at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, PA for interior design. Emily owned and operated a ladies clothing store, "The Wicket Shop" in Marietta, OH and interior design shops in Hendersonville, NC and Asheville, NC. Through out her life she was very devoted to her family and enjoyed reading the Bible. Emily also enjoyed meeting and spending time with people and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Graybeal of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Valerie W. Koehler and her husband, Chuck, of Greeneville, TN and Katherine W. Warnemunde and her husband, J.B., of Valrico, FL; two sisters, Mary Katherine Goff of New Smyrna, FL, and Marsha Ann Malek and her husband, Jim, of Columbia, SC; brother, Wilbur Herbert Wood, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Ninety Six, SC; grandchildren, Jonathan Gott, Jessica Arthur, Joshua Warnemunde and Tara Devault; great grandchildren, Jimmy and Duke Arthur and Tyler and Aubrey Devault.
