Elsie Doris Puckhaber Skuhra

Elsie Doris Puckhaber Skuhra, 94, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late John Joseph Skuhra died Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Doris was born April 29, 1924 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter and only child of the late John Henry Puckhaber and the late Elsie Doris Doscher Puckhaber. She attended Blackstone College in Virginia and was a life member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Arion Ladies Auxiliary and the Circle 4 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by daughter, Diane Pysh (William W. Pysh) of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, J. Mark Skuhra (Becky) of Charleston, SC; three granddaughter's, Elizabeth S. Wagner (Kenny) of James Island, SC, Anna Pysh of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Elsa Pysh of Charleston, SC; and three great grandchildren, Jacob, Lillie and Nathan.
