Elma Esther Postell

Elma Esther Postell, 80, of Florence, South Carolina, wife of Wilson Postell entered into eternal rest Friday, January 18, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Elma was born August 4, 1938 in Becker County , Minnesota, daughter of the late Toivo Kristan Koskiniemi and Aina Workkanen Koskiniemi. She was a graduate of Valley City State University, Valley City, ND. Elma was a retired teacher from Ferndale Baptist Church School with over 47 years of service. She was a member of Sauldam Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wilson Postell; daughter, Rebecca Anne Jordan (Floyd); son, Clinton Charles Postell (Susan) all of Florence, SC; two sisters, Shirley K. Kangus of Ironwood, MI, Vivian K. Nutter (Nick) of Hillsboro, OH; six grandchildren, Landon Greeley Lord, Bayley Rebecca Lord, Taylor Reece Postell, Hayden Charles Postell, Julia Jordan Mudd (Rayme), Anna Nicole Chavis Perry (Robbi), and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Perry, Bryce Lord. Elma was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
