Elliott Bruce Heath

Elliott Bruce Heath, 84, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Donna Heath passed away peacefully Thursday, October 3, 2013. The relatives and friends of Bruce Heath are invited to attend his wake at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 9. The funeral service with military honors will begin at 4:00 pm followed by a reception at the Mount Pleasant Chapel. Bruce will be buried next to his parents at a private graveside service in Norfolk, VA.

Bruce was born on July 16, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Elliott Bruce Heath and the late Elsie Old Heath. He was a graduate of Fordham University and St. Michael's High School. He was honorably discharged from the Army where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He raised his family on Long Island, NY and spent his career in the shipping industry where he formed his own brokerage company. He is survived by his wife, Donna Heath of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his four children, Bruce Heath, Nancy Probst, Cynthia Wollstein, and Lois Zambello; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Elsie Heath Driscoll.
