Ellen Shapiro Swartz, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Murry I. Swartz entered into eternal rest Friday, May 14, 2021. Interment will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Ellen was born November 20, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harry Shapiro and Celia Nathanson Shapiro. She was the owner of A & E Digital Printing, and a member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim (KKBE) Congregation in Charleston, South Carolina. She was deeply passionate about art, painting, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Murry I. Swartz of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her sons, David Swartz (Larissa) of Newtown Square, PA, James Swartz (Andrea) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Robert Swartz (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by her sister, Lynne Hoffman of Balacynwyd, PA; and ten grandchildren.
