Ellen Elizabeth Andreason Rettinger

Ellen Elizabeth Andreason Rettinger, 70, of Mount Pleasant, SC, wife of Fred Rettinger died Saturday, March 19, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 in All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 N. Highway 17, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Ellen was born December 6, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, daughter of the late Harold Andreason and Doris Prenevost Andreason. She loved the outdoors, especially walking the beach during her Myrtle Beach vacations. She was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed participating in the Thursday Morning Bible Study group with her husband.
Ellen is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years; her son, Mark Rettinger and his wife Vanessa of Anderson, SC; her granddaughter, Alexandra Rettinger of Anderson, SC; and her sister-in-law, Susan Rettinger of Long Lake, MN. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marlys Johnson.
The family extends a very special thanks to Beacon Hospice caregivers Dee and Evie for the wonderful care given to Ellen.
