Ellen Victoria Henrics Fralix, 100, of Charleston, SC, widow of James Theodore Fralix, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 21, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in The Church of the Good Shepherd, 1393 Miles Drive, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy., from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Ellen was born December 7, 1914 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Henry W. Henrics and Elizabeth Rantin Henrics. At the early passing of Ellen's parents, she was the benefactor of being raised by Annie and Harry Miller. She was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd, the D.O.E.S., Daughters of The King, and Daughters of America. Ellen will be fondly remembered as the "Queen Bee".
She is survived by her four daughters: Marlene F. Knight (Melvin) of Charleston, SC, Annette F. Leonard (Charles) of West Columbia, SC, Joan F. Payne (Bobby) of Ravenel, SC, and Deborah F. Vergere (John) of Holly Hill, SC; four sons: James T. Fralix, Jr. (Dottie), of James Island, SC, Henry Fralix (Lynn), Herbert A. Fralix (Delores), and Robert Fralix (Shirley), all of Charleston, SC; brother Ralph Miller of Charleston, SC; sister, Dorothy Baker of Daniel Island, SC; sister-in-law, Martha Miller; 30 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Fralix Hill; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Joye Fralix; Annie and Harry Miller, Herbert, Horace, Ernest, Leroy, and Elizabeth.
