Ellen Theresa Bryant Baher

Entered into eternal rest at sunset, after a prolonged battle fighting the ravages of cancer on February 26, 2011, Ellen Theresa Bryant Baher, wife of Richard Robert Baher.  Residence, Charleston, SC and formerly of Massachusetts.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Baher are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial of the latter in Church Of The Nativity Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment services will be held later.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Tuesday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Baher was born April 2, 1949 in Norwood, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Anthony Bryant and the late Mary Agnes Saart Bryant.  She was a member of the James Island Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as president and spent many wonderful days at the club with friends.  Ellen truly espoused the genteel southern traditions, calling Charleston home for over 17 years.  She will be greatly missed, as she was a bright light for all.        

She is survived by her husband of over 41 years; two daughters, Barbara Cyr and husband, Timothy, of Plymouth, MA and Suzanne McCormack and husband, Thomas, of Sandwich, MA; a sister, Catherine Bryant of Cambridge, MA and four grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Hailey and Ryan.
