Ellen May Adams, 97, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Roy Adams entered into the presence of Jesus Christ, her Savior and Lord, on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
Ella was born January 14, 1924 in West Darby, England, the daughter of the late Thomas Fletcher and Ellen Margaret (nee Kelly) Fletcher. She was the last survivor among 9 children. She spent the first 30 years of her life in England followed by 35 years in Canada, after which she moved to Mt. Pleasant with her most beloved husband Roy. She taught Sunday school for many years and had an amazing Christian outreach to Mount Pleasant nursing home residents for 25 years. Ella's favorite hobby was knitting and some items are still lovingly worn today!
She is survived by her son, Duncan Adams (Mary) of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and her daughter, Jeanette "JP" Adams Stewart (William) of Las Vegas, NV. She leaves 2 grandchildren, Michelle of Ottawa, Ontario and Neil (Brittany) of Edmonton, Alberta, and 2 great-grandchildren, Elise Ann and Sophie Ella. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Roy Adams, the love of her life.
