Ella Mae Pace

Ella Mae Pace, 83, of Hanahan, SC, widow of Benjamin Gordon Pace, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, peacefully at home.

Born May 23, 1928 in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of Verner S. Davis and Carrie Ella Reese Davis.  She was a graduate of Parker District High School and former member of Monaghan Baptist in Greenville, SC.  She was very active in her Berea Sunday School Class at Highland Park Baptist Church and a member of the Hanahan Senior Club.

Mrs. Pace is survived by her son Russell Keith Pace and his wife Lisa of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Hoyt T. Davis and his wife Helen of Greenville, SC. Her son, David Wilson Pace, preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be held in Highland Park Baptist Church Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be held at 4:00PM at Springwood Cemetery, Greenville, SC.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Thursday, July 7, 2011 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
