Elizabeth "Libby" Storm Winstead

March 4, 1919 — January 3, 2019

Elizabeth "Libby" Storm Winstead, 99, of Granbury, Texas, formerly of Charleston, SC, widow of Louis Harrelson Winstead entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 3, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in the Downtown Chapel one hour prior to service for a brief viewing. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born March 4, 1919 in Union, South Carolina, daughter of the late J. Harrie Storm and Edna Gladys Wyld Storm. She was a former member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Goose Creek and was an organist for many years in several Charleston churches. Elizabeth was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Descendants of the Mayflower and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Libby lived a very exciting life including living in 8 different states, flying airplanes, riding motorcycles and living for 10 years on a yacht in California.

She is survived by her daughter, Vera Winstead Phillips of Granbury, TX; son, Glenn C. Winstead of Missoula, MT; six grandchildren: Chad Phillips and wife Debra, Teresa Winstead and spouse Olga Krivchenko, Josh, Sarah, Laura and Amy Winstead and four great-grandchildren: Dylan, Carter and Tristan Phillips and Derek Winstead-Krivchenko. She was predeceased by her grandson Bradley Storm Phillips.
