Elizabeth Beigel Voegelein, 87, of Charleston, SC, widow of Gordon Rollings Voegelein entered into eternal rest Monday, November 24, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Elizabeth was born December 5, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Louis and Katherine Beigel. She was a member of Charleston Exchange Club Ladies Auxiliary, former President of the Naval Officers Wives Club and worked for the Red Cross for over 25 years. She was also a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her four daughters, Diane V. Harrelson (Ron) of Charlotte, NC, Robin V. Gamber (Clay) of Hendersonville, NC, Kandi V. Pastore (Bob) of Charleston, SC, Jackie V. Freeman (Gary) of Raleigh, NC; ten grandchildren, Emily Clickner, Bridget Middleton, Crystal Gamber, Clayton Gamber, III, Gordon Fletcher, Wm. Billy Fletcher, Haylee Pierce, Kristin Freeman, Chandler Freeman and Rollings Freeman.
