Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 24, 2012, Elizabeth Tiedemann Thomas Desjardins, first married to the late George E. Thomas and widow of Arthur F. Desjardins. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm. in St. Barnabas Lutheran Church. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Mrs. Desjardins was born December 31, 1926 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of John H. Tiedemann and Catherine Bulwinkle Tiedemann. She was a member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two daughters: "Sam" Hazel T. Boyd (Jim) of Sullivan's Island, SC and Jill T. Oliver (Tony) of Charleston, SC; one son: George E. Thomas, Jr. of Charleston, SC; four grandsons: John, Anthony, Jim and Stephen; five great grandsons: Graham, Charlie, Sam, Jackson, and Wilks.
