Elizabeth Eva Sweiderk

Elizabeth Eva Abel Sweiderk, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of James Sweiderk, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.

Elizabeth was born February 4, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Johan Abel and Elizabeth Becker Abel. She was a retired bookkeeper and a talented seamstress.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Avis and Shireen Avis Fisher and her husband Gregg; a son, James Boyd Avis and his wife Evelyn; her grandchildren, Arien, Kate, Elizabeth, Erin, Kylee, Bree, and Devon, and several great grandchildren.
