Elizabeth Griffin Kugley

Entered into eternal rest the morning of June 13, 2010, Elizabeth Dorothy "Dottie" Griffin Kugley, widow of Eugene Earle Kugley.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at two o'clock.  Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Tuesday evening from five until seven o'clock.

Born July 18, 1920 in Charleston, SC, Mrs. Kuguley was the daughter of Otis McHenry Griffin and Laura Ballentine Griffin.  She was a resident of Walterboro, SC from 1947 to 1964 and was a faithful member at First Baptish Church of Walterboro and afterwards at The Citadel Square Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kugley is survived by a daughter: Dorothy Kugley Drawdy of Acworth, GA; a son: Douglas D. Kugley of Charleston; four grandchildren: Elizabeth Kugley Powers Williams, John Thomas Drawdy, Jr., Douglas D. Kugley, Jr. and Katherne K. Walker and five great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her son, Eugene Earle Kugley, Jr.
