Elizabeth Pierce Kornahrens

Elizabeth Pierce Kornahrens, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Louis Edward Kornahrens, Sr., entered into eternal rest Monday, May 22, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Elizabeth was born July 18, 1922 in Bucksville, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Henry Pierce and Mae McMichael Pierce. She was a homemaker and member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Louis Edward Kornahrens, Jr.,(Fiona), John Wesley Kornahrens (LaRae), George Michael Kornahrens (Jeannette) all of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Mulkey of Summerville, SC, daughter, Patricia Mead (P. O. Mead III) of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Martha Morris of Beaufort, SC, Bess M. Blois of Summerville, SC; eleven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son-in-law, Michael Mulkey and a grandson, Louis Mulkey.
The family wishes to thank Margie Mead Jackson, beloved granddaughter, Diane Robinson, Edie Miller, Tiffany Middleton, Barbara Ball, Shirley Bomar, Mary Banazweski, Julie Teiken and Roper Hospice for all their loving care.
