Elizabeth H. Huguley

Elizabeth Hanna Huguley, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of John E. Huguley, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Hospice of Charleston, surrounded by her loved ones. The family will hold a graveside service on Monday, November 21, 2016, in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.Mrs. Huguley was born July 17, 1926 in Johnsonville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Emma T. Hanna and G. Wilburn Hanna, both of whom resided in Charleston. She was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gary W. Hanna, Jr. (Carolyn) of Las Vegas, NV. Mrs. Huguley is survived by her sister, Allison H. McCarthy of Beaufort; her son, John E. Huguley, Jr. (Vivian) of Wadmalaw Island; her daughter, Elizabeth H. Horres (Edward) of Williamsburg, VA; her four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Huguenot Society of South Carolina, 138 Logan St, Charleston, SC 29401.
