Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Wezwick Gleason, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of John Harry Gleason entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 9, 2017. Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 p.m.

Elizabeth was born May 18, 1926 in Orlando, Florida, daughter of the late Sidney Jacobs and Norine Fox Jacobs.

She is survived by her husband, John; sons: Thomas Wezwick of Las Vegas, NM, Joseph Wezwick of Sullivan's Island, SC, Bryan Wezwick of Sydney, Australia, Robert Wezwick of Manchester, NH; daughter, Mary Rogers Wezwick of Hicksville, NY; eight grandchildren: Shaun Rogers, Jacqueline Wezwick Wilson, Keith Wezwick, Johanna Wezwick, Colleen Wezwick, Nicole Warman, Gabriel Wezwick, and Joseph Wezwick; and her great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred Thomas Wezwick and her daughter, Regina Thecla Cummings.

Elizabeth will always be remembered for her love of her family, cooking, and fondness of animals.
