Elizabeth G. "Jane" Edgerton

Elizabeth G. "Jane" Edgerton died Aug. 9, 2016. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 10, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. Her Memorial Service will be held Thursday August 11, 2016 in St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Avenue at 11:00 a.m.

Jane was born Jan. 24, 1930 in Wilmington, NC. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church for 57 years.

She is survived by her five children, Neal Edgerton (Judy), Mike Edgerton, Ann Braswell (Tommy), Peggy Edgerton and Patty Barfield (Kenny); grandchildren Michael Barfield (Shawn), Liza Edgerton, Rob Edgerton (Stephanie), Jonathan Perry (Jan), Maxcy Edgerton and Mikey Edgerton; five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Galloway of Tallahassee, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark UMC, 413 Geddes Ave., Charleston, SC 29407.
