Elizabeth S. Dodson, 92, of Summerville, SC, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Summerville. Her funeral service will be held at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, on Monday, April 28, 2014, at 3:00 pm. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Dodson was born on July 8, 1921 in Olar, SC to the late Chester and Rozeal Still. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lem Goodale, her second husband, Ernest Dodson, and three children: Ronnie Goodale , Wayne Goodale and Sandra G. Davis, as well as her sister, Gloria Birt.

She was an active member of Old Fort Baptist Church in Summerville where she sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Goodale of Charleston; five grandchildren; her sisters, Louise S. Creech of West Columbia and Iris S. Grubbs of Barnwell; seven nieces and nephews, as well as a very good friend, Shirley Dukes of North Charleston.
