Elizabeth Jane Davis

Elizabeth Jane Davis, 71, of Adams Run, South Carolina, wife of Zaria E. Davis, Sr. entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Elizabeth was born February 2, 1944 in Jesup, Georgia, daughter of the late Jim Williams and Anna Cribbs Williams. She was a waitress at Shoney's and then the Travler and also the Post and Courier.

She is survived by her husband Zaria E. Davis, Sr.; two sons, Mario D. Davis and Zara E. Davis, Jr., and one daughter Ashley Elizabeth Davis all of Adams Run, SC; five sisters, Trudy Brown of Adams Run, SC; Johnie Bennett of Huger, SC; Joyce Johnson of Jesup, GA; Cheryl Garvin of Adams Run, SC and Diane Evors of Jesup, GA; two brothers, Charles Williams and Trevis Williams both of North Myrtle Beach, SC, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by two daughters, Phyllis Lynn and Debra Jane Davis.
