Elizabeth "Bettina" Tillman Middleton

Elizabeth "Bettina" Tillman Middleton, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Charles Francis Middleton III entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 in St. Philip's Church, 142 Church Street at 2:00 pm.  Interment, Churchyard. The family will receive friends in the church social hall following the burial. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Bettina was born July 5, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late James MacRae Tillman, Jr. and Elizabeth Stender Tillman Fears. She was a graduate of Ashley Hall and attended the University of South Carolina. Bettina was a retired Travel Agent and a member of St. Philip's Church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Felicia Middleton Skoglund (Perry) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren: Julianna Ashlyn Skoglund, Elizabeth Middleton Skoglund, Elizabeth Bailey Imbus and Anne Madison Imbus; and two sisters: Deborah T. Skilton (Bill) of N. Charleston, SC and Patricia T. Russell (Bob) of Mount Pleasant, SC. Bettina was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Kirk Middleton and grandson, Charles Ashton Middleton.
