Elise Cecile Nelson

Elise Cecile Nelson, 26, of Isle of Palms, SC, died Thursday, September 10, 2015. Her Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Monday, September 14, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Elise was born October 12, 1988 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Eric Hynes Nelson and Nancy Watkins Nelson. She attended Sullivan's Island Elementary School, Laing Middle School, Wando High School, and Trident Technical College. Elise will be remembered as a kind and empathetic young lady with a bright smile and personality.

She is survived by her parents of Isle of Palms, SC; two brothers, Frederick Alexander Nelson and Louis Watkins Nelson; and her maternal grandmother, Ruth Hynes Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her honor to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
