Elise St Laurent Knox

In loving memory of Elise St Laurent Knox who entered into eternal rest October 22, 2018. Elise St Laurent Knox was preceded by her husband John Lawrence Knox. She was born Oct 31, 1936 in Charleston and graduated from Rivers High School. The daughter of LCDR Clinton St. Laurent and Marie Elise Moseley St. Laurent; she is survived by her daughter Deborah Knox Sink, her husband Eddie; son John Lawrence Knox, Jr his wife Nancy; brother Fred St. Laurent. Preceded by her brother Clinton W. St. Laurent. Grand children Jenna Marie Knox, Lauren Elise Carper, Harold M. Brinson, III, Sarabeth Marie Camp and five Great Grandchildren.

She retired from the City of Charleston Engineering Department and was a member of the Charleston Does 231, the Island Shag Club, and The Hat Divas Society-Purpose & Mission and will be greatly missed. The graveside service for Elise St Laurent Knox will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 in Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunnington Avenue at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street.
