Eli Newell Argintar

Eli Newell Argintar of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 9, 2010.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel Monday September 13, 2010 at eleven-thirty o' clock.

Interment, Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC Tuesday.

Mr. Argintar was born January 3, 1929 in Miami, Florida, the son of Oscar Argintar and Jennie Newell Argintar.  He served with the Florida National Guard and retired as a salesman.

He is survived by three daughters: Ellen A. Singer of Miami, FL, Susan L. Argintar of Los Angeles, CA and Phyllis A. America of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sister Ester Merlin.
