Eleanor Spicer Reuben

Dr. Eleanor Spicer Reuben, 69, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Dr. Adrian Reuben passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 4:00 p.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Eleanor was born June 26, 1945 in Washington , District of Columbia, daughter of the late Samuel Sherman Spicer and Gertrude McRae Spicer. She was a retired Professor of Biochemistry at MUSC.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dr. Adrian Reuben of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Sara Elizabeth Reuben of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, Aaron Samuel Reuben of Washington, DC, brother; and two brothers: Kenneth Spicer of Sullivan's Island, SC and Samuel Spicer of Wilmington, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charleston Jewish Federation, 1645 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407 or One-80 Place, PO Box 20038, Charleston, SC 29413 (former Crisis Ministries) or Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas St, Charleston, SC 29425.
