Eleanor Lucille Pannal

Eleanor Lucille Pannal, 85, of Columbia, SC, formerly of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 29, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 am. Interment, Old St. Andrew's Parish Churchyard. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Eleanor was born September 9, 1927 in Savannah, Georgia, the daughter of Ernest Lester Pannal, Sr. and Elsie Purvis Pannal. She was a retired Program Coordinator with the South Carolina Employment Security Commission. She is survived by two nieces, Deborah Pannal Reagan (Stephen) of Columbia, SC; Donna Pannal Glen (Paul) of Burke, VA; a sister in law, Betty H .Pannal of Columbia, SC; several great and grand nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her brother Ernest Lester Pannal, Jr. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston SC 29401 and/or Alzheimer's Association SC Chapter, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston, SC 29407.
