Eladio Pascual Coloma, 81, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Josefina Coloma passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013. A Celebration of Eladio's Life will be held Sunday, September 1, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:30 pm. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens . The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
Mr. Coloma was born July 12, 1932 in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, in the Philippines, son of the late Ruperto and Nemesia Pascual Coloma. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Chef Steward. During his service to our nation, Eladio was able to travel around the world. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina Coloma of North Charleston, SC; his children, Reynaldo Coloma of Dallas, TX, lmelda (Kenneth) Jones of Parachute, CO, John Coloma of Charleston, SC, Eladio Coloma, Jr. of Charleston, SC, and Jovi Lyn Coloma of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, John-Michael, Hunter, Ciara, Keanu, and Aaron; his two great-grandchildren; his sisters, Cecilia Molina, Aurea Manibog, and Placida Coloma all of Los Angeles, CA. Eladio was preceded in death by his brother, Isidro Coloma and his sister, Lourdes Estrada.
