Burial
Eileen K. Bolan, 78, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Theodore Bolan entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 8, 2026. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the Johns Island Presbyterian Church, 2550 Bohicket Road at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun St.
Services in New York will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the William G. Miller Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Eileen was born on September 25,1947 in Queens, New York, the daughter of the late Gustav Kleemann and the late Viola Merklin. She worked for many years as a legal secretary first, at Czarnikow-Rionda on Wall Street and then at the Dutchess County Attorney’s office in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Eileen took pride in her family and lived for her children. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She was beautiful on the inside and out. Eileen had a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was an avid Scrabble player and had a love for reading, gardening, movies and dogs, especially her beloved huskies.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband Ted Bolan, daughter Christa F. Page and son-in-law Patrick Page (Johns Island, South Carolina) and her son Robert R. Gray and daughter-in-law Abbey Gray (Atlanta, Georgia). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Rose Page, Caleb Gray, Patrick Page, Declan Gray, Emerson Gray, Cora Page, Cameron Page and Vivian Page, as well as her brother Ralph Kleemann, sister-in-law Cathy Kleemann and niece Jennifer Kleemann.
Eileen was preceded in death by her daughter Meredith, mother Viola Kleemann, and her father Gustav Kleemann.
Memorials may be made to Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary in Hollywood South, Carolina.
