Effie Lee Pendarvis Peagler

Enter into eternal rest on the morning of Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in a local hospital, Effie Lee Pendarvis Peagler, widow of Laurie Peagler.  Residence, North Charleston, South Carolina. 

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Peagler are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at eleven o'clock.  Interment will follow in Indian Field United Methodist Churchyard, Rosinville. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's North Area Chapel this Friday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm. 

Born June 27, 1926 in Dorchester County, SC, Effie was the daughter of Dennis Pendarvis and Odell Myers Pendarvis.  She was a member of Indian Field United Methodists Church in Rosinville, SC.  Effie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by her family and many friends. 

Survivors include: 2 daughters: Jennie L. Elliott of N. Charleston and Louise Parsons of Kinglands, GA; 2 sons: Charles W. Peagler of Ladson, and Harold G. Peagler, Sr. of N. Charleston; a sister: Lulabelll Peagler of Rosinville, SC; 7 grandchildren 2 step grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren and 2 step great, great grandchildren.
