E.E. "Doc" Reynolds

E. E. "Doc" Reynolds, HMC USN, Ret., 82, widower of Doris Jacqulyn Reynolds, died on the morning of October 15, 2011, at a local hospital.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of "Doc" Reynolds are invited to attend his funeral service, Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, North Charleston.  Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park with military honors.  The family will receive friends Monday, October 17, 2011 in J. Henry Stuhr, North Area Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Born August 28, 1929 in Blair County, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Edward King Reynolds and Evelyn Flo Neff Reynolds.  "Doc" was a lifelong member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church and a member of T.R.E.A.  "Doc" honorably retired from the United States Navy after proudly serving for over 21 years. 

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Reynolds (Mary) and Bruce Reynolds, both of North Charleston, SC; brother, Edward Reynolds of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Melissa Jones (Keith), Mesha Reynolds (Javier), Michelle Reynolds, Tanya Reynolds, Shannon Brock (Ronnie), Jason Lear (Cindy); seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  "Doc" is preceded in death by his wife, Doris and sister, Mary Alice Bryan.  He was loved by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Cherokee Place United Methodist Church, 2105 Cosgrove Avenue, North Charleston, SC  29405.
