Edward Legare Thrower

Edward Legare Thrower, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Thrower, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 in St. Philip's Church, 142 Church Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Born in Charleston on January 17, 1998, Legare was a rising senior and a loved member of the Porter Gaud School community. He was a member of the Vestry, the Sporting Clays team, and was in the midst of spring training for varsity football.

His friends, teachers, and loved ones will never forget his polite, charming, quick-witted personality and his sweet nature to be inclusive of everyone.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Griffin Thomas Thrower, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Linda Fowler, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jeanne L. Thrower, his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Leffew, Mr. and Mrs. William O. Duke, Jr., Mr. Larry Chip Thrower and cousins, Jake and Clay Leffew, William L. Duke (Laura), and his buddies, Reid and Jack Gilchrist, Wilson Crone, his beloved Goonies; his old friends from Atlanta and Charlotte, Holy Innocents, AG, Woodberry Forest School, and his sweet dogs, Maggie and Molly.
