Edward Patrick Rowland

Edward Patrick Rowland, 76, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018. His funeral service will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service.

Edward was born February 10, 1941 in Charleston, SC, son of the late George Rowland and the late Myrtle Adams Rowland. He was a veteran of the US Navy and US Army. Edward was a retired electrician with the Charleston Naval Shipyard and Assistant to Apprentice Program. He volunteered at the Hanahan Recreational Department and coached football and baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Judith "Judy" Hudson Rowland of Hanahan, SC; three sons: Charles (Wendy) Hancock of Bonneau, SC, Edward P. (Laura) Rowland, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, James Anthony (Irene) Rowland of Summerville, SC; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Ginny) Rowland of Hanahan, SC; sister, Edna Armstrong of Florence, SC.
